For Democrats, ‘freedom’ is just another word for mandate 

While speakers at the Democratic National Convention tried to portray presidential nominee Kamala Harris as some type of cross between Perry Mason, Jack McCoy and Mother Teresa, the overriding theme at the convention and until the election is freedom. But don’t be fooled. Democratic strategists made it very clear months ago that they shifted to the freedom theme as a marketing strategy because it sells well.
