What does Vice President Kamala Harris believe in? That shouldn't be tough to answer, but it has stumped more people than the toughest Final Jeopardy questions.
Sooner or later, I have to assume she will articulate some kind of vision or original thought on policy. She will presumably propose something of substance, solutions to the issues facing the country. One cannot campaign on "vibes" alone…or can one?
I know it’s the buzzword of the Democrats this year...

Harris blindsided Democrats with ‘no tax on tips’ plan
Vice President Harris blindsided Democratic lawmakers and progressive activists by endorsing a proposal first floated by former President Trump to exempt tips for service and hospitality workers from taxes, an idea that Democrats had previously criticized as “bogus” and a “ploy” for votes.
Harris’s support for the idea is being seen as an aggressive play for votes in Nevada, a critical swing state where service workers will be key, and as an effort to neutralize whatever advan...
Are you ready for ‘Kamalanomics?’
What are the economic policies being proposed by Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee? We don’t actually know what “Kamalanomics” looks like because the veep has been more focused on offering platitudes with attitude. Will Kamalanonics be similar to Bidenomics? Or is it just Bidenomics on steroids?
So far, her campaign website has zero policy proposals, so that’s no help. But you can buy a Harris-Walz camo hat the media have be...

GOP pleads with Trump to control impulses, focus on policy
Republicans are pleading with former President Trump to focus on policy after he has spent the first few weeks against Vice President Harris’s surging campaign indulging what they see as his worst impulses.
Since Harris replaced President Biden as the Democratic nominee in late July, Trump has exasperated some of his allies with a lack of discipline in his campaign messaging.
In that time, he has attacked Harris over her biracial heritage, blasted ...

Tim Walz pick excites hopes of taking US healthcare beyond Obamacare era
Advocates are enthused by Harris’s running mate, who as Minnesota governor called healthcare a ‘basic human right’
When Kamala Harris picked the Minnesota governor, Tim Walz, as veep for the Democratic presidential ticket, advocates for healthcare reform felt a jolt of electricity.
Here, they saw a man who proclaimed healthcare a “basic human right”, reformed medical debt collections, and who laid the groundwork for expanded government insurance and denied corporate health insu...
Amicable Walz learned hardball politics in the House
In tapping Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) as her running mate, Vice President Harris chose an affable figure with dad-joke zeal and "Minnesota nice" energy.
But Walz's time in the House reveals another dimension — one of a shrewd tactician able to survive rough political waters when other Democrats were sinking, and play hardball to achieve his ambitions when the moment demands.
Those attributes surfaced not only in the act of taking tactful votes that he...
Sanders says Harris should be ‘very proud’ of Biden administration record
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said on Sunday that Vice President Harris should be "very proud" of the administration's record over the past few years and brushed off concerns about reversals in some of her policy positions.
“She should be very proud of the record of the Biden/Harris administration in taking on the greed of the pharmaceutical industry, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, and creating millions of jobs by rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure,” Sanders said ...
